Editing involves copyediting your text and includes:

• grammatical and spelling correction;

• reviewing syntax (correct sentence structure);

• punctuation check;

• smoothing out linguistic improprieties;

• revising semantics and comprehension (the correct meaning of words and sentences); and

• looking at textual cohesion (how sentences makes sense together and how the text flows).

 

All edits and corrections are annotated in the margins using Microsoft Word Track Changes.
